We prepare teams to win online pitches:

Our proprietary research of nearly 2000 decision-makers helps pitch teams engineer their own success.

Excerpts from our interviews with top executives about how they decide who wins, and what works for them personally (yes, everyone pitches), are as useful as they are entertaining.

The skills we workshop and rehearse remind attendees how to control the direction and momentum of their pitch together, online.

Essential pitch skills “everybody knows” (like resilience and listening) are often abandoned by an individual under pressure in a pitch. In our workshops and rehearsals we work together to build a backstop of understanding as a team, to avoid any one person inadvertently defaulting to whatever works for them - a common risk in the gig economy and flat organizations.

Presenters tend to be self-focused. They have a lot to say, they want to say it well, and they have little time to prepare. These pressures make them forget what’s important to the audience. The presenter is so consumed by the mission that he forgets to say why people would want or need to be involved.

PITCH REHEARSAL ONLINE (PRO)*

Pitching online can rob teams of the sensory cues they need to build momentum and chemistry together.

Online rehearsal certainly helps, but many employers have yet to require it their new pitch process. In our recent poll with a top-ranked global ad agency, 65% of respondents wished they had more online rehearsal with their team; nearly 20% wanted more instruction on how to be better in online.

So in addition to skills-training, we can participate in our clients’ online rehearsals, to provide options for their improvement.

A PRO session is a confidential Zoom rehearsal of your online pitch. The agenda for PRO sessions is tailored to meet the specific needs of your team. For example:

  • Discussion of the pitch opportunity, and defining what support is needed

  • Pitch rehearsal & mock-client questions

  • Observations to improve the audience’s experience with your team and idea:

    • Considerations for your momentum and chemistry

    • Online backgrounds, lighting, video and sound

*We recommend your team take our pitch skills workshop prior to a PRO session.

I would be happy to recommend Minor Nobles to other firms, just have them call me.
— A Top-10 law firm, NYC

In a recent Minor Nobles survey with HBR, nearly 2000 decision-makers told us what they wish people would do more often or avoid altogether in pitches to them.

Michael is the faculty instructor for pitching with the Association of National Advertisers.

What aspects of the workshop could be improved to make it more effective? Nothing - it’s great. The information in this workshop transcends different industries. Great for companies that do big pitches.
